If you have magazines hanging about the house that you would like to get rid of, please send them to me. Magazines are wonderful tools in the art room.
Also, if you happen to have any keys that you don't use (or can't remember what they are for?!?) I would love to have them. I have a few activities that I do with keys but I don't have as many as I would like.

To bring to school:
- a binder for math ( I can provide a duo-tang)
- a binder for literacy (can be the above binder with dividers)
- a binder for history/geography (again could be the same binder with dividers)
- a Thinking Book - this is a notebook for use in literacy. It should be bound or coiled (I can provide an exercise book)

Sept 11 - 15 - book fair (I LOVE the book fair!)
Sept 13 - milk orders are due
Sept 14 - welcome back meet and greet (5:00 - 6:30)
Sept 25 - PA day
Sept 27 - picture day and immunizations
Sept 28 - Terry Fox Run - please wear red and white
Today we began our study and learning of the Seven Sacred Teachings (Seven Grandfather Teachings). These will provide the framework for our class collaborative norms. We will look at each teaching individually in the upcoming days in class.
